lace lust

I am inexplicably drawn to this antique lingerie inspired maxi from Forever 21.  It's sheer and cheaply made, neither of which is usually a selling point for me, but the nude fabric and the aged golden lace are calling my name.  I think it would look stunning over tough boots with a long cozy sweater in the winter.   At less than $23 it hardly seems like the kind of purchase you'd have to think about too much, but I'm really trying not to have mistakes or throw-away pieces in my closet.  On the other hand, branching out is always a good thing, and this seems like a great way to expand my sartorial vocabulary without breaking the bank.  What do you think?
