For now, I can just pretend, and wear one of these super cute rashies to the beach. And the bonus: they have a upf of 50+, which means they'd be the perfect thing if the sun's beating down a bit too hard while I'm lounging like a sloth. Dreaming about doing this:

More surfer-chic fashion for us mortals to covet...
I wonder if it gets really hot with the long sleeves? But supposedly they're designed for high temps, so I'm guessing they've got it under control. Any of you have any experience with these? Any of you ever been surfing? Tell me all about it...
I'd love to learn how to surf some day as well, but my balance is terrible. I use rash guards for windsurfing and even scuba diving (in warm waters) and they're perfectly fine in the tropics. But I guess it's because I get wet at least once so after that they're nice and cool as I dry off.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, sometimes I end up with really tanned hands while the rest of my arms are fairer, haha. Not a good look but so good for avoiding sun burns if you're under the sun all day.
Love that there are so many chic rash guards out there these days! I would avoid white because sometimes they yellow over time.
Ha! If I get one I'll just have to remember to slather some protection on my hands :) Good to know about the white as well. Windsurfing and scuba diving? So cool. I can't imagine your balance is that bad if you can windsurf, right? I'm so looking forward to my little beach adventure, snorkeling for sure, but if we get up the guts for a surfing lessons as well I'll be beyond elated!
