I've talked about VPL swimwear before, and yes, a year later, I'm still lusting after the majority of their suits. Not quite as wacky as the We Are Handsome suits, but not the minimalist Eres either, these bikinis seem to strike a perfect balance between playful and subdued; they're simple but thoughtfully designed, sporty but elegant, and I love the extra bit of coverage in the bottoms.
More VPL goodness...

I've never been much of a fan of one-shouldered things (in general) but these have me re-thinking my prejudices. Have you ever tried anything from VPL in person? Dying to get my hands on something and actually feel it...
No I haven't but having seen the first picture, it reminds me of this bikini that I spotted on another blog http://www.hm.com/gb/product/06222?article=06222-A#article=06222-A
ReplyDeleteI like the sporty feel of this range ... but I'm a swimsuit girl these days (everything is not what it used to be!).
Ooh, I love it! And H&M prices! I will say, I had a bikini from H&M a few years back and while I love the style, the fabric quality is exactly what you'd expect for the price, so it's not exactly anything that will last through the years. But this is a great find and I'm totally going to check it out. The bottoms leave a little something to be desired (ie: more fabric) but I could always swap them out for some cute boy briefs or something. Thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteI was quite taken with them - they are a little different to the regular run of the mill bikinis. A little more directional we could say?
